One To Rule Them All

You’ve probably noticed that this website has undergone some changes recently. With this post, I’d like to share an update on where things stand and why there’s suddenly a blog here, too.

At the start of this year, I realized I hadn’t been updating this website much, I wasn’t happy with its design either. And as I dug through some older projects, I started reminiscing about the way web development was when I first got into it — good ol’ times.

That’s when I decided it was time for a fresh look and setup. But instead of going with the latest frameworks, I wanted to recreate a website using a tech stack that’s more in line with how things were done around 10 years ago. I’m curious to see if this approach is still viable for modern web development.

The Blog: A New Addition

Now, here’s something that might surprise you: I’ve actually had a blog for the past few years. It wasn’t anything crazy or fancy — just some thoughts and guides that I thought were worth scribbling down.

Since the domain I was using for that blog is expiring soon I decided to move everything over here, especially since I didn’t use this domain to it’s full potential neither.

So you’ll probably start seeing some older posts pop up as I migrate the content. But don’t worry, knowing myself that will take at least a few months to get everything sorted and formatted. In the meantime, I’ll definitely be adding new posts, including updates on my experience working with this older tech stack.

I hope you enjoy the new look and the new content! Thanks for being here and following along. See ya in the next post!
